Mike Gosling Ph.D. Leadership Coach
Executive Leadership Coaching
It’s the same way with Emotionally Intelligent Leadership. You’ve probably heard lots of pitches about how to change your personal habits or how to achieve a good work-life balance. And, maybe these have worked for a little while. But eventually it became just too much trouble and the results were disappointing. So you’ve actually got to go on the right program!
You can have the most brilliant product, idea or concept. Yet without effective emotion management the world will never know about you.
Furthermore, you will have heard the axiom, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” It’s not true!
It’s about how influential you are in the creation of work environments that value and support staff and attract committed employees who are dedicated to excellence in your product or service and to the goals of the organization.
Therefore, to build your personal and business success and dominate your marketplace you need to assemble a powerhouse of people who know you. And you need someone who knows the sneaky little tricks of emotion management. That person will make sure you STOP any annoying behaviors that turn people off from wanting to know you.
Most of all, that’s what makes my Emotionally Intelligent Leadership coaching programs unique!
First of all, did you know that the higher you go in organizational life the higher the level of technical skill that is required? It’s true – You need to be smart.
Furthermore, the higher you go in an organization your people skills often make the difference in just how high up you go.
I’ve advised the world’s top experts, smart people, on how to make positive, long-term, measurable change to their behaviors. This helped them achieve at a higher level. So my easy-to-learn emotion management system brought them higher positions and higher rewards. And I can do the same for you!
WOW Mike! Every month I’m realizing how easy it is to change bad habits that I hadn’t realized had crept into my way of managing. Thank You!! Everything you said worked like a charm.

Are you a business owner, CEO or senior level executive wanting to better manage your own behavior to achieve that next level of success? As your coach, I can help you get into the emotion zone and take your success to whatever level you want through coaching in Emotionally Intelligent Leadership.
Especially relevant is what I’m really good at is facilitating your emotional development by helping you tap into your real coaches – the people you work with:
I helped a Chief Operating Officer in the Services Sector learn to master her emotion management. Let’s call her Esther. Here’s what she has to say:
In working with Mike Gosling over the course of a year I was able to stop an annoying habit that I barely knew was occurring but which was turning people off me. Now I’m back in control of my emotions and the emotions of others, my salary went up, and I’ve taken on new assignments with relish.

Clearly, you don’t have to be a genius to know that you can achieve whatever you want to in life if you know how to effectively handle your emotions.
You see, everything you do in life is about how you feel about what happens to you.
If you’re feeling great, congratulations – that’s a non-problem status. If you’re feeling poorly, and others are being impacted negatively by your behavior, then that affects them and you.
You can be the most highly qualified engineer, accountant, manager, doctor, or crane driver and be completely unaware of how your behavior impacts on those around you in the workplace and at home.
Because you already know the functional aspects of your career, I can’t help you with that. You have already enjoyed the success that comes in spite of your behavior due to your talent, intellect and hard work.
But perhaps you “Don’t suffer fools gladly” and believe that your success is linked to this behavior. In fact you could be even more successful if you were to explore whether this in fact was true. Maybe you are a bad listener or you fear listening to others because you fear the loss of your creative impulses.
“OK Mike, I get the picture, but how do I find a behavior that I may need to stop?” you ask.
First of all, does any part of your behavior impact adversely on others?
Also, how often do you self-judge, rate others and impose standards on them?
Maybe you are often sarcastic – Do you always make comments you think are sharp and witty?
Furthermore, how often do you ask others about your perceptions; your view of yourself?
And do you often fail to express gratitude to those around you?
Most of all, have you refused to share information in order to maintain an advantage over others?
Another bad habit is: Are you guilty of not being an active listener – Do you listen to, level with, and validate others?
Finally, how many times a day do you use negative qualifiers (“Yes, But…”, “No”, or “However”) to secretly say to others, “I’m right. You’re wrong.”
I am proof that all the emotional intelligence techniques you have heard about are true! Hence I share openly what has worked for me and create the confidence that my emotion management system for emotionally intelligent leadership – what I call The Emotional Leader Program – is for real and will work for anyone.
Renowned Behavioral Coach, Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, says:
What got you here, won’t get you there. People who do one annoying thing repeatedly on the job – don’t realize that this small flaw may sabotage their otherwise golden career.
I completely agree. You are what you think. You must get involved to make your behavior current with today’s brain technology. When you do, get ready for massive growth in your personal, business and leadership success.
In Emotional Intelligence Coaching I will guide you on the path to emotional awareness. You will have healthy relationships, the beginning point for all successful leaders. Also, I facilitate you finding deeper meaning and purpose through exploring your unique gifts and talents. This will draw out how you might become an even better leader.
